The Iowans Return

The Iowans

The Iowans will return to perform for their 3rd EUM performance on Wednesday May 18th! This will be their first time performing at the Creekside Place: “Music on the Side” series. Allen Schwengels and AJ Vital will also be performing. The Iowans unique style has been described as “Folk-Bluegrass Fusion.” Their wit and charm wrapped in Folk and Bluegrass might make you think twice, if you didn’t think you were a fan of either: it’s hard not to enjoy watching them perform. Christina and Katie are cousins and their affection for each other and music makes it hard not to enjoy one of their performances. The Iowans hold a special place at EUM as one of our first performers, before the pandemic changed our vision to include outdoor music during the summer.

Also performing are: AJ Vital & Allen Schwengels. Vital says, “I have been told I am mix between Bob Seger, Matchbox 20 and Garth Brooks.” “I have deep love and passion for music in all genres! I dont just breathe it I feel it!” Allen Schwengels an 11 year old local resident who has been playing piano for 4 years. He enjoys playing for church and family gatherings. His favorite piano pieces to play are  famous movie songs, popular hits, and praise songs.will also be performing.
